Dollander will be placed on the 15-day injured list due to a knee injury, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Analysis: Dollander reported knee pain after his start Monday and underwent imaging Tuesday. The exact results of those tests are unclear, but it will apparently be enough to send him to the injured list. Dollander's season is likely over, though he will technically be eligible to return in the final few days of the season.

Analysis: The Rockies sent Rolison down to the minors Sept. 3, but he'll now return to the big leagues to replace Luis Peralta, who landed on the injured list Thursday with a hip injury. Thu, Sep 11, 2025, 4:33 PM
The Rockies placed Peralta on the 15-day injured list Thursday, retroactive to Monday, with left hip inflammation.
Analysis: Peralta has struggled mightily in the majors this season, posting a 10.80 ERA and 2.40 WHIP across 16.2 innings alongside a 14:16 K:BB. The 24-year-old will be eligible to return before the end of the season, but the Rockies likely won't be in a rush to bring him back based on his performance and the fact that they are firmly out of contention for a postseason spot. Ryan Rolison was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Chase Dollander
Chase Dollander Awaiting MRI results on knee
Tue, Sep 9, 2025, 8:31 PM
Dollander underwent an MRI on his left knee Tuesday, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports.
Analysis: Dollander said after his start Monday that his sore left knee was beginning to affect his command and velocity, per Henry, so the Rockies pulled him after he made it through five innings of one-run ball. The team brought him in for imaging to determine whether the right-hander's injury is the result of a structural issue, and the results of the test will help determine his availability for his next scheduled start -- tentatively scheduled to come Saturday in San Diego.

Analysis: Gordon surrendered three home runs: one in the first inning to Manny Machado, one in the second inning to Jackson Merrill and one in the fourth inning to Gavin Sheets. The outing marked Gordon's first time allowing multiple homers in a start this season and snapped an excellent stretch of play. In four starts leading up to Sunday's appearance, Gordon posted a 2.74 ERA and a 19:6 K:BB across 23 innings. He went 3-0. The 27-year-old is slated for a rematch with the Padres next weekend but will have the benefit of pitching away from Coors Field.

Warming Bernabel
Warming Bernabel Notches first career steal
Fri, Sep 5, 2025, 10:58 PM
Bernabel went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 3-0 win over the Padres.
Analysis: This was Bernabel's first steal in the majors, coming on his second attempt. The corner infielder had 22 steals in the lower levels of the minors in 2022 and notched 12 steals over 120 games at Double-A in 2024, but there's not a ton of speed in his profile. He's also struggled at the plate lately, going just 1-for-32 with two walks and 11 strikeouts over his last 10 games for the first extended slump of his young career. Overall, he's posted a .238/.273/.410 slash line with four home runs, 13 RBI, 14 runs scored, seven doubles and one triple over 128 plate appearances.

The outfielder has provided a decent mix of power and speed, though not at the same level as he showed last year. He's racked up 14 homers, 19 doubles, 16 steals, 54 RBI, 52 runs scored and a .247/.291/.395 slash line across 120 contests, but he's been much more consistent in recent weeks.
Hunter Goodman
Hunter Goodman Stays on fire in win
Fri, Sep 5, 2025, 10:51 PM
Goodman went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, an RBI double and a walk in Friday's 3-0 win over the Padres.
Analysis: Goodman has rattled off three straight three-hit games, and he has four of them over his last six contests. He's also racked up 10 RBI in that longer span, which has all been at hitter-friendly Coors Field. The catcher is up to a .285/.331/.538 slash line with 28 homers, 85 RBI, 66 runs scored, 25 doubles, four triples and one stolen base over 124 games this season.
